This is a place for me to document some tidbits of interesting personal and school projects I have worked on, mainly in data science and machine learning.

Who Am I?

I am Eu Jing, a Master’s student in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). I grew up in Singapore, got my B.S. in Statistics and Machine Learning in Spring 2020 at CMU, and am completing my M.S. in Machine Learning in Spring 2021.

Some of the things I enjoy are:

• All sorts of water sports (like kayaking, stand-up-paddling, dragonboating)
• Hiking and visiting national parks
• Collecting vinyl
• Discovering new craft beers (Untappd)
• Sci-fi from authors like Philip K. Dick and Isaac Asimov (psychohistory!)
• Ricing my vim and archlinux setup (dotfiles here)
• Learning more about birds after helping a family of robins this summer
